I bought this 89 Camry at an auction. I needed a front wheel drive car and this Toyota like the Lexus LS400 from the early 90s is regarded as one of the most reliable cars they ever made. So I went looking. Original paint automatic trans equipped car. A little rust, broken door handle, some of the interior lights didn't work and exhaust was shot when I saw it at the auction. I paid $600 for it and was offered $1,000 for it but declined.

This car was a BASE model car meaning no options - no cruise, no tilt, cheap seats, no ect lock up, blah blah. I upgraded to factory mudflaps, LE door handles, LE instrument panel, LE center console, 88 Supra radio and a Lexus ES250 strut bar. Added the lock up button for the converter. I can't keep anything alone!!!

I just hit over 220,000 miles with it! I love it! Great car!
